Consent

1. Taking part in the study

  • I have been informed about, and clearly understand, what my participation in this study involves.
  • I consent voluntarily to be a participant in this study and understand that I may choose to terminate my participation at any time, up to two weeks after completing the task, and without having to give a reason.
  • I understand that taking part in the study involves completing an online task and providing some personal information such as my age, gender and education.

2. Use of the information in the study

  • I understand that my identity will be kept confidential and the information I provide will be managed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 and the Data Protection Act 2018.
  • I consent to my anonymised data being used for publication and other outputs related to the TORR project.
  • I consent to the above processing being undertaken by Kingston University London and St George's, University of London.

3. Future use and reuse of the information by others

  • I understand that I will not be identifiable from the study results but that anonymised data and general participant characteristics (e.g. age, gender) will be securely stored and may be shared with other researchers upon completion of the project, in compliance with the Wellcome Trust's policy on data, software and materials management and sharing.
  • I give permission for my anonymised data to be deposited in the Kingston University Research Data Repository, so it can be used for future research and learning.
  • I consent to the above processing being undertaken by Kingston University London and St George's, University of London.
